2.1 Rabbi Dr. Maury Grebenau – JNTP
ABOUT THIS EPISODE
For 20 years, Jewish New Teacher Project of New Teacher Center helps Jewish day schools and yeshivas achieve instructional excellence by increasing teacher and school leader effectiveness, teacher retention, and student achievement and by bringing professional development into school culture.
JNTP improves teacher and administrator skills through intensive mentoring and coaching, shared cohort learning, and job-embedded instruction through our two signature programs:
- Teacher Induction Program: JNTP trains veteran teachers in schools to intensively mentor beginning teachers in their schools, in both general and Judaic studies, grades ECE-12, accelerating teacher effectiveness and long-term commitment to the field.
- Administrator Support Program: JNTP offers cohort-based learning and individual coaching for administrators and school leaders who are new to their roles and who have teacher supervisory responsibilities. Areas of focus include leadership, culture, and supervision.
JNTP has worked with over 230 schools across North America. Over 40,000 Jewish day school and yeshiva students per year have a teacher trained by JNTP.
Rabbi Dr. Maury Grebenau is Senior Program Consultant for JNTP’s Administrator Support Program.
